NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish couple is seeking damages, claiming that they paid for work which was never completed.
Michael and Margaret Joffe filed a lawsuit against Shannon-Nicholosi LLC, doing business as Audubon Custom Renovations, Cynthia Lynn Shannon and Gianfranco Nicolosi in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place after the defendant and plaintiff entered into a contract. The suit states that the defendant had agreed to complete work for the plaintiff for which it was paid. However, the suit states that the defendant did not complete the jobs in a satisfactory manner and the plaintiffs have had to invest a large portion of their own money to remedy the situation.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Margaret M. Joffe of Pugh, Accardo, Haas & Radecker LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
