Gretna resident accused of failing to make payments on loan

GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking damages from a Gretna resident who allegedly defaulted on a loan.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit against Lamont Matthews in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on an unpaid account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a consumer loan. The suit claims that the defendant has failed to pay the balance on the account, which is $7,570.04.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
