GRETNA – A security installation company is seeking payment for work that they were contracted to do.
ParaTech LLC filed a suit against Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and the defendant entered into an agreement Dec. 4, 2014, for the plaintiffs to provide security systems at the defendant's branch locations. The plaintiff bought the equipment needed for the installations and sent the invoice to the defendant but in November 2016 the defendant told the plaintiff that the company had changed its mind and did not want the installations completed.
The defendant is accused of failing to uphold the agreement.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William J. Larzelere III in Covington.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
