Bank of America seeking more than $9,000 from Jefferson Parish resident

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for an open account.

Bank of America N.A. filed a suit against Summer C. Swafford of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account for $9,140.20.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
