Bossier Parish Community College seeks over $1,500 from Orleans Parish resident

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $1,500 on an Orleans Parish resident's open account.

Louisiana Community and Technical College system through Bossier Parish Community College filed a lawsuit against Antonia Ireyon Celius in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of sums due for the balance of $1,599.64 plus interest. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for goods or services issued.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith Jr. of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
