Discover Bank claims Jefferson Parish man failed to maintain payments

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking more than $9,000 from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Discover Bank filed a suit against Salvatore J. Cimino in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with the balance of $9,321.59 plus interest. The defendant allegedly defaulted on a credit card.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
