Selltis seeks more than $1.5 million due on a promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking damages for sums due on a loan.

Selltis LLC filed a lawsuit against Selltis Technologies LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of contract of a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for a breach of contract after it lent $1.85 million to the defendant. The suit states the defendant had agreed to pay back the plaintiff; however, the defendant has failed to repay the amount as agreed and is indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $1.52 million.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and failing to repay a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ryan O. Luminais of Sher, Garner, Cahill, Richter, Klein & Hilbert LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherell S. Taplin.
