NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking more than $22,000 for work completed.
SRF Group Consulting LLC filed a lawsuit against St. Joseph LaPlace LLC and Tina Owen in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, Owen entered into an agreement with the plaintiff to renovate the defendant's property. The suit states that the plaintiff has not been paid for the services provided to the defendant and is seeking payment of $22,532.91 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay sums due and breaching a contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Dwayne P. Smith, Edwin M. Shorty Jr. and Nathan M. Chantella of Edwin M. Shorty Jr. & Associates, A Professional Law Corporation in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
