M&M Concrete Services claims it wasn't paid for completed work

NEW ORLEANS – A concrete company is seeking damages for sums due on a completed project.

M&M Concrete Services Inc. filed a lawsuit against The McDonnel Group LLC and Travelers Casualty Insurance Co. of America in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming it completed concrete services on school-building contract for the defendant and is owed $69,378.89 plus interest. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff despite demands being made.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and failing to pay sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Wayne J. Jablonowski of the Law Office of Wayne J. Jablonowski APLC in Slidell.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
