NEW ORLEANS – Bellsouth is seeking damages for equipment that was damaged by a third party.
Bellsouth Telecommunications LLC, doing business as AT&T Louisiana, filed a lawsuit against Wallace C. Drennan Inc., in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff's equipment was damaged April 12 during the repair of a sewer main at 13400 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans. The plaintiff claims the defendant failed to use the appropriate level of care when repairing the sewer main.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael B. Alker of Sutton, Alker & Rather LLC in Mandeville.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
