Capital One seeks more than $4,000 from Jefferson Parish resident

GRETNA – A bank claims a Jefferson Parish resident owes more than $4,000.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit Sept. 6 against Patrick L. Nichols Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid account in the balance of $4,138.90. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the minimum balance.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Remy F. Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
