Barclays seeks more than $3,000 from Marrero man

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $3,000 on an open account.

Barclays Bank Delaware filed a suit Sept. 6 against James A. Allen of Marrero in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment on an open account and claims the defendant has failed to maintain payments on $3,449.27 charged to a Mastercard.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, interest, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
