University of New Orleans seeks over $1,500 from student

NEW ORLEANS – A university claims that it is owed more than $1,500.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit against Terriana Christina Julien in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the defendant owes $1,744 plus interest for goods and services for the fall 2013 semester.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
