University of New Orleans claims student owes money for spring 2016 semester

GRETNA – A university is seeking damages for sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit against Joe Harvey Franklin of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $1,386 plus interest from the defendant for attending the institution in the spring 2016 semester.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy D. Richard of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
