Jefferson Parish resident accused of owing over $1,000 to university

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $1,000 from a Jefferson Parish resident.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit against Alison Ducro Riley in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $1,093.25 plus interest. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay in full for registration in the spring 2013 semester.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
