NEW ORLEANS — A company is seeking damages, claiming that a customer failed to pay it more than $52,000.
KMT Painting and Decorating LLC filed a lawsuit on Sept. 22 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Cain Construction and Designs LLC, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $52,347, claiming that the defendant failed to pay it for work it had completed.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ashley B. Robinson of Shields Mott LLP in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
