Man allegedly failed to pay for attending University of New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — A man is being sued after he allegedly failed to pay for attending a university.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit on Sept. 18 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Alfred B. Hanson, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking $1,108.00 plus interest after the defendant allegedly failed to pay for attending.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
