Creditor sues over overdue Dress Barn account

GRETNA – A financial services company is seeking damages for an open Dress Barn account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Oct. 5 against Lisa Morel of Marerro in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,987.50 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 776559.
