Customer faces suit alleging past-due Mastercard account

GRETNA – A financial services company is seeking damages over a past-due Mastercard account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Oct. 9 against Defon Russ of Harvey in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $2,110.79 plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 776660.
