Lawsuit alleges Sears customer owes more than $9,000 on account

GRETNA – A financial services firm is seeking damages for sums due of more than $9,000 on a defendant's Sears account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Oct. 9 against Keyanne Labeaud of Harvey in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $9,493.78 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay of the balance.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr. 

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 776666.
