NEW ORLEANS — A university is seeking over $1,700.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit on Oct. 4 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Tylette R. Robertson, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $1,779 from attending the institution.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
