Michigan auto finance firm sues car buyer over unpaid debts

GRETNA – A Michigan auto finance company is seeking damages of more than $12,800 in an auto sale that was never paid off.

TD Auto Finance LLC filed a suit Oct. 11 against Cory Narine in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $12,812.70 plus interest on a 2014 Jeep Laredo that was purchased from Ray Brandt Kia.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorney LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 776753.
