Lighthouse for the Blind trying to collect $10,000 debt

NEW ORLEANS – A center for the blind claims that it is owed more than $10,000.

The Lighthouse for the Blind in New Orleans Inc. filed a lawsuit on Oct. 12 against Broussard Paper Inc., Southern Building Maintenance and Supply LLC, and William "Chuck" Edwards in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging they owe the balance of $10,943.82 plus interest. 

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Maggie A. Broussard of Stone Pigman Walther Wittman LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
