NEW ORLEANS – A local restaurant is being sued for breach of contract by a construction company that alleges it wasn't paid for its services.
Scott Kerschener Construction LLC filed a lawsuit on Nov. 17 against Vessel Nola LLC and 3835 Iberville LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the complaint, the defendant contracted the plaintiff to complete a job at 3835 Iberville St. in New Orleans, but failed to allow the plaintiffs to complete the job without interference. The suit states that the defendants also failed to pay the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney J. Nathan Johns of The Johns Firm LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
