GRETNA –A woman claims that she tripped and fell in a Harahan Applebee's parking lot.
Renee M. Whitley filed a suit on Nov. 17 against The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company; Southern River Restaurants, doing business as Applebee's Restaurant; and/or Applebee's Neighborhood in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 26, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she was walking to her car and tripped on an uneven portion of cement.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Eulis Simien Jr. of Simien & Simien LLC in Baton Rouge.
