Mayer Electric trying to collect on past due account

GRETNA — A Baton Rouge electric company claims that it is owed more than $8,000.

Mayer Electric Supply Company Inc. filed a suit on Oct. 3 against Advanced Electrical and Data Services LLC, Michael Ryan and Michelle Ryan in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued goods to the defendants on credit and were not paid in a timely manner. Despite requesting payment on multiple occasions, the defendants allegedly failed to acknowledge or pay the plaintiff. The plaintiff is seeking payment of the amount of $8,639.65 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffery B. Struckhoff in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
