NEW ORLEANS – A university claims that a student failed to pay on a past due account.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit on Nov. 8 against Kwaneesha S. Reagans in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract and an open account.
According to the complaint, the defendant currently owes the plaintiff $1,274.62 plus interest.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Meghan N. Beal of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
