Woman says she was hurt at Redfish Grill

NEW ORLEANS – A couple claims that the wife slipped and fell in a restaurant.

Carolina Leaverton and Warren Leaverton filed a lawsuit on Dec. 5 against 115 Bourbon LLC, dba Redfish Grill,  Star Indemnity and Liability Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Carolina Leaverton was a guest at the defendant's property on Dec. 7, 2016 when she was caused to slip and fall on a substance that had been left on the ground without warning, causing her physical injuries.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael J. Bourquard of the Law Office of Michael J. Bourguard LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
