NEW ORLEANS – A woman allegedly fell when she sat on a defective chair in a local car wash.
Johnell Colbert filed a lawsuit on Oct. 17 against RTH Car Wash Corporation, Troy Lawrence and ABC Insurance Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Nov. 4, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was at the defendant's property when she sat in a chair, which collapsed and caused her injury.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeremy J. Pichon of Didriksen, Saucier, Woods & Pichon in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates.
