Don Bohn Ford accused of unfair trade practices

GRETNA — A man claims that a car salesman tried to charge him an additional $10,000 to purchase a new truck.

Nicholas J. Bonura filed a suit on Sept. 5 against Harvey Ford LLC, dba Don Bohn Ford, and ABC Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract and unfair trade practices.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place when the plaintiff visited the defendant in order to purchase a new 2017 Ford F-150. The suit state that the defendant stated a price of $51,000 for the vehicle and all processes included, but at a later date upped the price by $10,000.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William F. Bologna in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
