Man seeks damages from Rooms to Go after hand allegedly stuck in door

GRETNA –A man claims that his hand became stuck in a door at Rooms to Go.

Nicholas Reggio filed a suit on Dec. 6 against Rooms To Go Louisiana Corporation, d/b/a Rooms to Go Furniture, Rooms to Go Inc. and King Rail Vets LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the defendant's location at 5800 Veteran Blvd on Dec.12, 2016. The plaintiff's hand allegedly became stuck in the door as he was exiting, causing his left arm and shoulder to snap.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clement P. Donelon in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S.Steib Jr.
