GRETNA –A woman claims that she slipped and fell in a Five Guys restaurant.

GRETNA –A woman claims that she slipped and fell in a Five Guys restaurant.

Jenny Duplantier filed a suit on Oct. 5 against ABC Insurance Company, and Bayou's Best Burgers LLC d/b/a Five Guys Burgers and Fries in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Oct. 23, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a menu that had been left on the ground in the restaurant.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Allan H. Borne Jr.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
