FCA Construction claims contractor was paid in error

GRETNA –A construction company is seeking damages, claiming that a contractor took payment that was not his.

FCA Construction LLC filed a suit Dec. 15 against Keith Adams, doing business as KDA Restorations LLC, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging theft of funds..

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming the defendant collected funds they should not have been paid, as they were not the appropriate recipient of the payment.

The defendant is accused of theft of funds.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Peyton B. Burkhalter in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 778704.
