Woman claims she was injured in fall at a store

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she tripped and fell in a store. 

Gladys Nichols filed a lawsuit Dec. 19 against Citi Trends Inc. and Travelers Constitution State Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 20, 2016. The suit states the plaintiff tripped and fell in the middle of an aisle, due to an object that had been left on the floor.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Brian King in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2017-12165.
