Grady Crawford Construction, worker accused of negligence in crash

GRETNA – A construction worker allegedly struck a woman's car causing injuries.

Jacqueline Liberto and Roland Lambert filed a suit Jan. 19 against Evan W. Persick and Grady Crawford Construction Company Inc. of Baton Rouge, The Phoenix Insurance Company and XYZ Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Jan. 20, 2017. Liberto was driving on Edenborn Avenue and Lambert was a passenger in the vehicle when Persick, who was driving in his scope of employment for Grady, struck the plaintiff's car resulting in severe injuries to the plaintiffs.

The defendant is accused of reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley Egenberg of Egenberg APLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
