NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages, claiming he was not delivered equity he owned in a company.
Advanced Threat Detection LLC and Stephen Petagna filed a lawsuit Dec. 13 against Broadband Discovery Systems Inc. and Cory Stephanson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming the defendant breached an agreement through failing to honor a distribution agreement despite the plaintiff having helped the defendant's company reach new heights. The defendant was obligated to deliver 10 percent equity to the plaintiff but has failed to do so.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jonathan P. Leeman of Couhig Patners LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.
