Willis Construction, worker accused of negligence in car crash

GRETNA –A woman is seeking damages after her vehicle allegedly was struck by a construction company worker.

Katherine Kramer filed a suit on Jan. 22 against Willis Construction Company LLC, Houston Specialty Insurance Company and Larry Willis in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 21, 2017. The suit states that the plaintiff was driving on West Esplanade when the defendant, while in the scope of his work for the defendant, struck the plaintiff's car when he had the red light.

The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Lloyd N. Frischhertz of Frischhertz, Poulliard, Frischhertz & Impastato LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
