Leson Chevrolet accused of unfair trade practices

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages from a local car dealer, claiming that the company has failed to repair her car despite it still being under warranty.

Nachele Williams filed a suit on Jan. 22 against Leson Chevrolet Company Inc. and General Motors LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging unfair trade practices.

According to the claim, the plaintiff purchased a Chevy Malibu from the dealer on Sept. 14, 2016. The suit states that  the vehicle began to have issues primarily with the pistons and the dealer has failed to repair the car despite it still being under warranty. 

The defendant is accused of unfair trade practices.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Vincent J. Booth of Booth and Booth APLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
