GRETNA – A woman claims that a driver caused her to drive into a tree.
Tyrese Ward filed a suit on Jan. 23 against Roy Ferrand, Ean Holdings LLC, d/b/a Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 27, 2017. The plaintiff was driving in Slidell and Ferrand allegedly was looking for a lighter in his car when he struck the plaintiff's car, pushing it into a tree.
The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Daryl A. Gray of Gray Law Group LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
