Carubba Engineering, Carimi Contractors accused of breach of contract

NEW ORLEANS – A condo association is seeking damages, claiming that work was not completed as promised. 

Cotton Mill Condominium Association Inc. filed a lawsuit Jan. 16 against Carubba Engineering Inc. and Carimi Contractors LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff contracted the defendants on April 3, 2015 for their services involving structural engineering and construction management for a project at 920 Poeyfarre St. in New Orleans. The suit states that the defendant has failed to complete the work as promised.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jason Z. Landry of Martzell, Bickford & Centola in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Henry Julien Jr.
