Plaintiff seeks partition of Galvez Street property

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that a fellow property owner is unwilling to partition a piece of immovable property.

Marcos Picolo filed a lawsuit Jan. 22 against David J. Klump in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging unwilling partition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that he and the defendant each own one-half interest in the immovable property located at 4600 to 4602 S. Galvez St., New Orleans. The suit states that the plaintiff is petitioning for partition of the property but that the defendant will not agree to partition.

The defendant is accused of failing to agree to a partition request.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Lance McCardle.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette Irons.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-586.
