GRETNA – A funding company claims it is owed more than $1,500 from a customer.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Jan. 8 against Bethany Barrios in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming the defendant has failed to pay back sums due in the balance of $1,577.24 on a Walmart account plus 4.25 percent interest.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
