Bank seeks more than $3,900 from delinquent customer

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $3,900 from a customer who was negligent in paying.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit Jan. 22 against Melvin Duarte in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an account in the balance of $3,960.57 plus interest. The plaintiff claims that the defendant had failed to pay what is owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Lack of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
