GRETNA – A woman claims she slipped and fell in a shopping center.
Wanda Butler Coats filed a suit Feb. 6 against Broadwall Management Corp., dba Lakeside Shopping Center; Greater Lakeside Causeway Corp.; Greater Lakeside Corp.; U.S. Specialty Insurance Co.; and Chubb Services Corp. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 4, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the Lakeside Shopping Center and was caused to slip and fall on a substance that had been left on the ground. The plaintiff was caused injury due to the fall.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John Milton in Lafayette.
