Credit union claims debtors owe more than $574,000

NEW ORLEANS – A credit union is seeking more than $574,000 in sums due.

ASI Federal Credit Union filed a lawsuit Jan. 24 against Wendell E. Pierce, Troy A. Henry and Sterling Fresh Foods LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off an open account in the balance of $574,563.82 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Darryl Fontana of Fontana & Fontana LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-755.
