A woman claims that she was caused to trip and fall in a Dollar Tree Store

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged trip and fall in a Dollar Tree store.

Danielle Crandle filed a lawsuit on Feb. 16 against Dollar Tree Stores Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming that she was at the Dollar Tree in Harahan on March 15, 2017 when she was caused to trip and fall on a raised door sill that was not marked clearly.

The defendant is accused of negligence

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael D. Riley of Michael D. Riley & Associates in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
