Court filing seeks more than $4,700 on open account

GRETNA – A funding company is seeking more than $4,700 from a customer.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Jan. 8 against Sylvia Cooley in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $4,737.14 claiming that the defendant failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 779211.
