Luba Casualty Insurance Company is seeking damages for an alleged incident at a work site

GRETNA — An insurance company is seeking damages after a man allegedly was injured at a work site.

Luba Casualty Insurance Company filed a suit on Feb. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Premium Service & Repair LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the man, who was allegedly insured by the plaintiff, was working on a dock on Feb. 24, 2017 when he allegedly was caused to fall when the dock plate folded. The plaintiff allegedly was injured in the incident.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David T. Butler Jr. of Funderburk and Butler in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B, Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 780863.
