GRETNA — A woman claims she was caused to slip and fall in a Harvey Big Lots.
Lori Lambert filed a suit on Feb. 28 against Big Lots Inc. and ABC Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on May 26, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property in Harvey. The plaintiff allegedly was caused to slip and fall in a puddle of detergent that had been left on the ground.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Tommy J. Badeaux of Frank J. D'Amico Jr APLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
