NEW ORLEANS – Southern University — Baton Rouge is seeking more than $2,000 from a former student.
Southern University Board of Supervisors through Southern University — Baton Rouge filed a lawsuit February 26 against Darron Merrell in Orleans Parish Civil District Court an alleging open account
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages in the balance of $2,045.75 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay his tuition bill.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kalla M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
